The original Association Management Inc. was established in 1979, eventually becoming the largest family-owned management company in Houston. In 2014, the company was acquired by a Public Company, marking a significant milestone in its history.
In 2023, AMI Communities LLC was founded as a family-owned enterprise dedicated to providing exemplary personal service to HOA communities. With a strong focus on customer satisfaction, AMI Communities delivers unrivaled support and expertise to its clients. The officers of AMI Communities boast a collective experience of over 100 years, ensuring that each community receives the highest level of professional guidance and support.

Meet Our Team
In 1979, as a recognized expert in real estate and community association law in South Africa, David moved to Houston, and co-founded Association Management, Inc. with his wife Glenda. Their objective was to provide exemplary professional management services to associations and to set a new standard for personal service.
In 1977 David joined the Community Associations Institute (CAI). He served as President of the Greater Houston Chapter of CAI and CAI National President. He also served as Chairman of the Education Council, as well as a member of the faculty of the Professional Management Development Program of CAI. He received numerous awards including the Educator of the Year. In 1983 he was awarded CAI’s highest designation, the Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM®). For the past few years David has volunteered at Houston Community College dedicating himself to developing programs to help entrepreneurs start and grow small businesses.
Luanne is Glenda and David Regenbaum’s daughter and has been exposed to the management of community associations since the age of 10. Luanne served in all facets of community association management and after moving to San Antonio, she served as the Director of Association Management, Inc.’s San Antonio’s office.
After working as a corporate event planner Luanne, returned to community association management and has spent the last 3 years serving as the on-site General Manager of a high-rise condominium in San Antonio.
She recently moved back to Houston and is a proud co-founder of AMI Communities LLC. She is a graduate of the University of Texas with a BS degree in Special Education with a focus in Math.
Glenda Regenbaum is the co-founder of Association Management, Inc. and AMI Communities LLC. She has extensive experience in managing community associations and is involved in all operations of the company. She is responsible for maintaining and continually improving AMI’s high-quality service.
Glenda held the position of Executive Director of Holocaust Museum Houston for three and a half years.
Prior to moving to Houston, Glenda was CEO of two companies in South Africa. She was educated in South Africa and Switzerland.
